Oct. 26, 2012
Specialty site adds to distributor’s application- and technology-specific focus areas for online reference

Mouser Electronics continues to round out its online “applications and technologies” feature with the addition of a radio frequency (RF) technology site.

The site is designed to help engineers find the newest RF product information by frequency range and offers the latest technical resources and industry news. Users can search for news and information by manufacturer, application and leading developments in RF.  The page features an easy-to-navigate system offering component information, featured products, articles and technical resources as well as links to other focus areas, such as automotive, lighting, industrial and more.

Mouser now has 16 application and technology-specific sites as Mouser.com.

“With the proliferation of smartphones and tablets, overall market demand for the convenience and freedom of wireless systems is growing rapidly,” said Kevin Hess, Mouser’s vice president of technical marketing. “Our goal is to better enable design engineers, allowing them to speed the integration of wireless technology. Our RF Technology site is extremely intuitive, providing useful information and component selection criteria right at their fingertips.

“It’s just one way Mouser is helping engineers design a world without cords.”
