Electronic component manufacturers, distributors, and manufacturers’ representatives head to Las Vegas in May for the Electronics Distribution Show (EDS), sponsored by the Electronic Components Industry Association (ECIA) and the Electronics Representatives Association International (ERA). The event will be held at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, May 5-8.
EDS has long been known as the place where the electronics industry connects each year. The annual event attracts hundreds of distributors, manufacturers, and manufacturers’ representative firms who develop new and deepen existing relationships through a combination of pre-scheduled, one-on-one meetings, product exhibits, educational programs, and networking events. Convention planners say the goal of EDS is “for electronics professionals to make connections with the world’s top manufacturers, distributors and sales representatives and build lasting and beneficial relationships.”
The one-on-one meetings are the hallmark of EDS, but the event also includes an industry update meeting hosted by the sponsoring associations along with other attendee-sponsored programs.
