The Freescale Technology Forum (FTF) will be held in Austin, Texas, June 22-25, highlighting the manufacturer’s range of embedded processing solutions for design engineers. The four-day conference features more than 350 hours of in-depth training, hands-on workshops and demonstrations from Freescale and its partners, and the FTF technology lab, which will provide more than 250 product and technology demonstrations.
Freescale’s touts its ability to provide secure, embedded processing solutions for the “Internet of Tomorrow” as a highlight of the program, emphasizing the industry’s growing focus on the Internet of Things (IoT) market.
Freescale partner Avnet Electronics Marketing is one of the event’s presenters. Avnet software enablement engineers Chris Young and Des Howlett will lead a four-hour, hands-on workshop on Embedded Linux development, and Technical Marketing Manager Peter Fenn and Strategic Solutions Architect John Weber will focus on design challenges and state-of-the-art solutions for smart networks and IoT security.
“The Freescale Technology Forum brings incredible opportunities for attendees to innovate and shape the future of embedded design,” said Alex Iuorio, senior vice president of supplier development at Avnet Electronics Marketing. “Within this environment, our highly skilled technical experts can share their insights into some of the key development challenges faced by the engineering community as they seek to differentiate their smart network/IoT-based new product designs.”
