Lindsley Ruth leaves Future Electronics to become Group Chief Executive of Britain-based electronic components distributor Electrocomponents plc.

Electrocomponents plc, parent company to European electronic components distributor RS Components and North American distributor Allied Electronics, has named Lindsley Ruth Group Chief Executive, effective April 1. Ruth will be based at the group’s headquarters in Oxford, UK.

He has consistently driven growth and performance, and I look forward to working with him to grow our business and deliver value for our shareholders.”

“I am excited about joining the team at Electrocomponents and look forward to leading the organization to accelerate growth, improve profitability and set the business on track to create value,” Ruth said in a statement announcing the leadership change.
