Avnet Inc. just inked a new distribution agreement with SiTime Corp., a MEMS and analog semiconductor company and wholly owned subsidiary of MegaChips Corp. Effective immediately, Avnet will offer SiTime’s MEMS oscillators in the Americas and Asia, excluding Japan.
SiTime offers MEMS-based silicon timing solutions that can replace legacy quartz products, providing greater performance, programmability, simplified board layout, and reduced cost. SiTime’s product line includes 60 base product families and over 200,000 individual parts.
