Mike Morton Promoted to Chief Operating Officer of TTI

TTI, the electronics distribution giant, recently promoted Mike Morton to chief operating officer. He had been TTI’s president of global sales and marketing and before that he had been in charge of its North American business.

With the promotion, Morton takes responsibility for the company’s global business units, which distribute everything from interconnects and passives as well as electromechanical and discrete components. In 2016, the Fort Worth-based company generated revenues of $2.2 billion, up from $1.95 billion in 2015. The company has also owned Mouser Electronics since 2000.

“Mike joined TTI in 1978, and has been involved in all aspects of our company; from operations, product management and global sales and marketing,” Paul Andrews, chief executive officer of TTI, in a statement. “His leadership and business acumen have been instrumental to TTI’s growth and success.”
