Electronics Companies Make New Appointments

Electronic components suppliers Pasternack, Fairview Microwave, and RFMW made new staffing announcements recently.

Tim Gala has been appointed product manager for active RF components at Pasternack Enterprises, Inc. Gala is experienced in product development, applications engineering, and business development in the RF industry. He has a degree in electrical engineering and has worked as the Business Development Manager and Program Manager of RF/microwave components at Mercury Systems. Gala has also worked for Watkins Johnson, Stellex Microwave Systems, Teledyne Microwave, Tyco Electronics and M/A-COM. He will help expand Pasternack’s line of active components including RF amplifiers, limiters, mixers, oscillators, circulators, isolators, and switches, the company said.

Lori Slay is filling the first sales and service management position at Fairview Microwave, Inc. The new position is aimed at helping engage customers and leading the inside sales team. Slay has 14 years’ experience in sales and service management. She has held various management positions within the insurance, wireless telecom, manufacturing, and financial services industries.

Gerry Camacho has joined RFMW as the worldwide director of coaxial components. Camacho has experience in senior management within RF distribution and engineering positions. His technical and web marketing skills will help grow RFMW’s RF Interconnect and Coaxial Component Business Unit, the company said.
