Phil Gallagher Joins TTI’s Leadership Team

March 24, 2016
Former Avnet executive joins TTI, Inc. as corporate officer and senior vice president.
Electronic components distributor TTI has named Phil Gallagher to its management team, effective April 4.

Gallagher will serve as a corporate officer and senior vice president. As a member of CEO Paul Andrews’ executive staff, he will develop long-term strategies for the company, TTI leaders said. Gallagher will also serve as president, sales and marketing, Americas, reporting to TTI’s Mike Morton, global president of sales and marketing.

Gallagher comes to TTI from Avnet, where he spent 32 years working in sales, management, and strategy. He was vice president of global business development for three years before being promoted to president of the company’s electronics marketing Americas business. Most recently, Gallagher was president of Avnet Technology Solutions, the company’s IT solutions business unit.

Gallagher is also a past president of the Electronic Components Industry Association and is a member of the Global 50, a forum of the world’s top global general management executives.

“A number of us at TTI have known Phil for many years and have interacted with him through industry events,” Morton said in making the announcement. “He is one of the executives we have followed through his career and knew his leadership style, people skills and cultural values would fit perfectly with that of TTI.”
