VPs Frank Cantwell and Dan Stewart promoted to Allied’s executive management team; plus news from Avnet, Powertech Controls, TTI and more

Allied Electronics named two new vice presidents to its executive management team effective April 1. The appointments were in conjunction with the new leadership change at Allied; earlier this year,  Scott McLendon, former vice president of product marketing, took over as company president, replacing longtime president Lee Davidson.

The new vice president of product management Frank Cantwell and vice president of marketing Dan Stewart were promoted to Allied’s executive management team.

Cantwell began his career at Allied as a product manager in 2000 and was quickly promoted to product marketing manager in 2001, where he served until he was promoted to product director in 2006. In his tenure as product director, his teams have grown their portfolios from $120 million to more than $270 million. As vice president of product management, he will be responsible for both the product management and content teams.

Stewart began his career at Allied in 2004 in the e-commerce department. He was promoted to director of e-commerce in 2007. Under Stewart’s leadership, the company’s online business has grown from $12 million to more than $150 million. As vice president of marketing, Dan will be responsible for both the e-commerce and marketing teams.

“I’m excited about Frank and Dan joining Allied’s Executive Management Team,” says McLendon. “They have great track records and bring with them skill sets that will help Allied continue to deliver great customer experiences.”
