Sager Expands FAE Program With New Addition

Sager welcomes Bob Kochem, field engineer, to its team to expand its Field Application Engineering (FAE) program. 

Massachusetts based IP&E electronic component distributor, Sager Electronics, is adding a new member to its team. The company announced that Bob Kochem will help expand its Field Application Engineering (FAE) program by joining as a field engineer, supporting power and thermal design activities in New England. Kochem has more than 28 years’ experience and has held engineering, sales, and management positions with Avnet, Conexant Systems, Newbridge Networks, and Digital Equipment Corporation.  Kochem graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering.

“For the more technical needs of our customers, we are providing a level of expertise that goes well beyond the data sheet,” Rich Arieta, director of application engineering at Sager Electronics, said of the FAE expansion program. “My goal for our team is to have them collaboratively work with the engineers at our customers as they develop their next big idea.”
