Design Center Added to element14

June 30, 2014
element14 has introduced its Design Center beta—a tool that allows engineers to search parts easily, with many filter options.

The newest edition to the element14 community is the element14 Design Center beta. The design center is up and running and offers the latest hardware and software tools with an easy search function. Engineers in the early stages of design can search using part number, keywords, or filtering functions—such as tool types, manufacturers, silicone families, and core architecture. The design tool allows you to search for development tools, as well as selecting functionality. The tool combines product data and information, community content, and software downloads with a search and select interface.

Aside from a normal search, the design center also features technologies that engineers may be interested in. Manufacturers include Analog Devices, Freescale Semiconductor, and Texas Instruments to name a few. The tool allows you to view all products from a specific manufacturer simultaneously. The element14 Design Center replaces theknode, released in 2011. The most popular aspects from theknode are incorporated into the new site.
