Heard in the Channel: Digi-Key’s Top Gifts for Geeks

Dec. 9, 2014
Electronics distributor offers holiday gift guide for electronics enthusiasts in YouTube video; plus news from Mouser, Avnet, and more.

In the latest installment of its Another Geek Moment video series, Digi-Key Corp. offers a list of the “Top 7 Items for Your Geek’s Stocking this Christmas.” Included are products from Microchip, Beaglebone, Seoul Electronics, Bud Industries, and more, and they’re all available at www.digikey.com.

Microchip’s RN42 BlueTooth Module, the Beaglebone Black RevC, and FTDI’s 5-inch touchscreen display are the top 3 items on this year’s list. The list is a valuable resource for electronics buyers because, as the distributor explains, “Unless you speak fluent Geek, you might not know what to stuff [your Geek’s] stockings with.”
