TTI Fills New Role, Vice President of Sales for Europe

Fort Worth, Texas-based TTI, one of the world’s largest distributors of passive and electromechanical components, created a new position called vice president of sales for Europe and filled it with Marc Winfield, its regional vice president of sales and sales development in Europe.

Winfield will be responsible for the firm’s European sales organization. The hiring feeds into TTI’s strategy of global expansion, a major priority for many distributors as the Internet of Things reinvigorates the electronics market. Slightly more than half of its $2.33 billion in revenue last year came from North America.

“We are significantly investing in our European warehouse and headquarters near Munich, Germany by adding new capacity to support our current and future growth plans,” Winfield said in a statement. “Our goal is to become the leader in both demand fulfilment and demand creation.”
